So Vogue's Best Dressed Issue will be out November 15th and the Olsen Twins have landed the cover.  They are also named the best dressed sisters (obviously).  Our personal opinion is that the only two who could even compete are Poppy and Cara Delevigne.....But anyways....we love these shots and honestly cannot wait to pick up this issue and then keep it forever to look back and see how their style has changed.

Here is a little video that we came across, giving an inside look at the StyleMint Shoot with the Olsen girls and Terry Richardson.  StyleMint is the newest collaboration with the Olsen girls that allows customers to get T-shirts designed by the girls for $29.99 a month.  This social shopping site sends you a new tee based on your personal style profile every month.

We absolutely love the styling that they went with (levi cutoffs, leather pants, vintage additions) and the model & photog choices Tati Cotliar & Terry Richardson.

 If we could be any celebrity for a day (or live in any celebrity's closet) our choice would easily be one of the Olsen girls.  We are obsessed with their style, their accessory choices and we obsessively follow their career moves.  These two girls have so successfully evolved from child stars to well known and respected designers and we can't help but admire their work ethic.  Here are a few of our favorite pictures of them for their 25th bday...

What we have been waiting for: The Row A/W 10

For their first actual show at New York Fashion Week, the Olsen girls debuted a simple, minimalist collection that included only the colors, black, white and navy.  They, of course, don't like for it to be called minimalist, so style.com has appropriately called it "utterly simple and anonymously chic".  Although they only used three colors, the show was far from boring.  The range in fabric choices was interesting, from a mesh like black fabric, to matte blue python, and there was also a good amount of leather.  The pieces were elegant, but simple and the whole collection was quite wearable.  The girls said backstage that they "wanted to do something low-key and straight to the point".  That, we would say, they did very well.  We will be anxiously awaiting these items to hit Barneys....

Terry Richardson, we love

It's odd that we haven't written about this yet, since we have been checking this new site every day for the past week.  Terry Richardson finally has given us an insight into his crazy photography world by starting a tumblr.  We now get to see who he interacts with on a daily basis (today the olsens, see pics above) and also shows the ways his odd imagination plays with pictures.  Check out his tumblr TerrysDiary and follow him on twitter here

The Row to show at NY fashion week next month

Since we spent most of our day yesterday flying back from NY and recovering from a nonstop weekend, we missed this little tidbit of news until today.  The Olsens's have announced that they will be showing The Row's AW10 line at NY fashion week.  Details are scarce, but we do know they will be doing some type of show or presentation.  No doubt it will be spectacular.

Here at TheStylist we never have shied away from admitting that the Olsen twins are two of our favorite style icons. While many people make fun of their boho tendencies we have loved and followed them from their first day in the industry. We adore Elizabeth and James and longingly lust after The Row t-shirts. We also, will shamelessly admit that we got their book Influence as a Christmas present last year. And, we love it.

So, after all of that rambling, we can proudly say, The Olsen twins will be inducted into The Council of Fashion Designers of America on October 21st. They will be inducted alongside Jason Wu, Alexander Wang and Mario Pinto.

Congrats to both of them.
