It Girl of the Month: Taylor Tomasi Hill (September Edition)
Who She Is: Taylor Tomasi Hill was born and raised in Dallas Texas (maybe one reason we like her so much?) and she attended Highland Park High School. This is where she met her future husband Chase Hill. She then received her Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design from The Pratt Institute. After that she began a career and quickly made a name for herself in the editorial scene of New York.
What She Does: Taylor is now the Style and Accessories Editor at US Marie Claire. Before this job she was the Accessories Director at Teen Vogue. She started her editorial career as an intern at W, and quickly worked her way to the top there. She has quickly become a favorite of street style bloggers and of young aspiring trend-setters everywhere.
Why We Love Her: For starters we love her blinding red hair and her effortless dressing. Her personal style isn't too "done up" and she does casual sophistication quite well. Oh and
when she was asked in a recent interview with Refinery 29, what song best describes her personal style, she answered: 'You Shook Me All Night Long' by AC/DC." Enough said.
On Her Style: Taylor claims that she doesn't like looks that are too fussy or done up. We have observed that her style is usually a mashup of runway and everyday favorites. She will pair the newest Proenza must have with Madewell Boyfriend jeans or a JCrew dress with Alexander Wang shoes. Everyone knows that we love those who can mix high and low fashion very well, and Taylor does it perfectly. We also are always obsessed with her accesory choices as she tends to embody the "more is more" mantra that we love so much.

Brad Goreski leaves Rachel Zoe, and leaves us in tears...
We woke up this morning to an email announcing Brad's amicable split from Rachel Zoe. We get it, he has learned all he can and needs to move on. However, we can't help being extremely sad that these two are parting ways. As we have said in numerous blog posts before, Brad is more than half the reason that we watch the show (even though we love Rachel too!) There will be no replacing him. It will be extremely difficult to find anyone as endearing, entertaining and talented to take his place. Thus we think that the show, may not go on.
We wish Brad the best, and we can't wait to follow him to the next step. But for today (and probably at least a week), we will remain quite sad about this news.

Accesories for Fall: More is Better
We can't get enough of the layered bangle look. That paired with numerous rings is even better. And let's be honest, if they don't match we love it even more.

Models off duty...a few faves.
1. Jac after D&G looking quite happy.
2. Abbey Lee after Gucci....we die for that outfit. The jacket is phenom, the see-through skirt is right on and the jewelry combo is amazing.
3. Ruby Aldridge, another fantastic outfit combo. Love the jacket and necklace.
Thanks Altamira for the pics.
Now everyone go out and enjoy your weekends. We sure will...

Some NYFW Faves
Sooo we have been quite busy lending out dresses, buying dresses, picking up dresses, dry cleaning dresses (you get the picture). It was extremely hard for us to keep up with all of the shows from New York Fashion Week in real time. However, now we are going through, examining all of the shows and seeing what we have missed.
Here is our first set of NYFW faves, including DVF and Alexander Wang. We loved Wang's switch to white and we loved the color scheme and prints at DVF.
What did you all think?

Now this is hilarious....
The website Modcloth is selling a "blogger writer dress" and a "blog editor dress".
We must ask, why does the blog writer look like an 8 year old and the blog editor is a tramp? (at least if she wears that to work...)
This doesn't make very much sense to us, even though we like the site.
Thoughts?

Tommy Ton Shoots Denim for Gap
Okay, we know, the obsession with Tommy Ton is going a bit far. But we aren't tired of him yet....so sorry guys, our posts about him aren't going anywhere.
We were flipping through Tommy's street style pics from NYFW on Style.com (obviously) and saw a "special sponsored section" containing Tommy's shots of denim for Gap. However, being the loyal Tommy follower that we are, we realized that the pictures are past shots that Tommy had already done and most don't include any Gap denim (we don't think). However, the shots did make us want to go buy some denim.
We think it's interesting that Gap chose to do this. Obviously a good idea to use Tommy and the Style.com venue to reach a certain market, but don't you think it would have been more effective for them to have him shoot their actual merchandise? But maybe that is too much given Tommy's schedule, and would probably be quite costly as well.
Regardless we like these shots and wanted to share. And that top shot definitely epitomizes our favorite hairstyle.
Want/Need/Have to have this ring...
Let's be honest, it's hard to focus on the content of the fashion shows when Tommy Ton is shooting street style. The street style is just so much more interesting at times.

Lindsey's growing up
She has already come so far from last season. She seems so confident and put together.
She is our favorite, even ahead of Freja and Abbey Lee. Can't wait to see her continue to grow.
